How to review whether an S9 page is real or fake

No logo, domain name or promotional claim proves authenticity by itself. This checklist helps Pakistan users compare visible claims with evidence before installing an app, sharing an OTP or making a payment.

Six checks to complete first

  1. Domain: inspect the exact spelling, HTTPS certificate and redirects. A copied page can use a similar-looking domain.
  2. Download source: record the page, file name, version and requested Android permissions. Do not treat an unknown APK as verified.
  3. Support identity: compare contact details across the website, app and published policies. A WhatsApp or Telegram profile alone is not proof.
  4. Payment claims: separate screenshots and user statements from independently verifiable terms. Avoid guaranteed withdrawal or earning claims.
  5. Account safety: never share an OTP, password or recovery code with a person claiming to be support.
  6. Update evidence: check when the page, policy and app information were last reviewed. Old instructions may no longer match the current flow.

What counts as stronger evidence?

Consistent ownership details, dated policies, reproducible support routes, clear risk language and version-specific screenshots are stronger than badges, countdowns or anonymous testimonials. When evidence conflicts, pause and keep a record of the URL, date, device and visible message.

Common warning signs

  • A request to pay before support will answer a basic account question.
  • A message asking for an OTP, password, screen-share session or remote device access.
  • Guaranteed profit, guaranteed withdrawal or pressure to act before a timer expires.
  • Policies copied from another brand or contact details that change between pages.
